Hello Restoration family,

Dear Restoration,

It is hard to believe that it has been almost seven years since I stepped into the role of Restoration Kids Director. I will admit that I did not really know what I was getting into when I started but felt that it was an opening from the Holy Spirit and so I faithfully followed. What a ride it has been! I am so thankful for all the kids and families that I have gotten to know and serve during that time.  You are each so special to me and I have not taken the responsibility of caring for your families lightly. It has been such a joy.

After much prayer and reflection, I have decided to step down from my role as Restoration Kids Director. It is a difficult decision but I trust that God is leading both me and Restoration Kids to new places. I am not sure where God is calling me next but I am taking this opportunity to rest, reflect and spend time with my family.

It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I look back on the ways that I have been supported and grown during my time on staff at Restoration. Restoration will continue to be my family’s church home and we look forward to growing and serving alongside you. Following the wise advice of a coach and mentor, I will be taking a break from church activities for the remainder of the summer but I look forward to seeing everyone again in the fall.

Blessings,
Chrystine Vilhauer

Dear Restoration family,
Pastor Rob, the Leadership Team and staff are grateful for the commitment, care and prayers Chrystine has poured into her almost seven years of service and leadership to Restoration.  She has created a culture of family partnership and discipleship where our kids can say, ‘My parent is one of my champions of my faith.’ That hasn’t been easy, especially the past 2 years. Our prayer is that family partnership and discipleship continue in our kids ministry regardless of who our next leader is. It is Chrystine and Kirk’s desire to remain a part of Restoration, which has been their church home for the last nine years. Please join us in prayer as we seek to love and care for the Vilhauer family, especially in this time of transition. We will celebrate Chrystine and her years of her service at the Vision meeting dinner on June 26. Chrystine will step down from her role July 1. You may send cards or note of thanks to the church by June 24 so that we can present them at the Vision Meeting.
